About the Presentation
A lot of people think building a mobile game starts with code. But the hard part is not getting AI to generate files. The hard part is designing a game that is simple, fun, playable, and realistic enough to actually ship.
In this presentation, Marcelo will share what he learned designing, building, and shipping Sagitta Chains, his iOS puzzle game created with the help of AI. He’ll cover how to go from a rough game idea to a clear game loop, how to use AI to explore mechanics, scoring, levels, power-ups, and monetization, and where human product judgment still matters. He’ll also walk through the real-world parts of shipping, including testing, App Store submission, in-app purchases, screenshots, and the lessons that only show up once you try to release a real game. You’ll leave with a practical understanding of how AI can help Product Builders turn a game idea into a shipped mobile app.
In the hands-on workshop, we’ll use AI to design and plan a small mobile game from scratch. We’ll define the core loop, create the basic game rules, think through scoring and progression, generate a lightweight product plan, and identify the first playable version we would build. The goal is not to finish a polished game in one night, but to practice the exact workflow of turning a simple idea into a clear, buildable mobile game concept. Bring your laptop, an AI agent, and a game idea you’ve been wanting to explore.
